Swarmanoid, the movie
So My PhD work was about software platform for building such robots - they can communicate each other, with need of realtime. It is Hardware independent and therefore it can be used on lot of platforms. Main system needs 32kB of flash on 8-bit AVR microcontroller, and only 720B of RAM. (that is whole communication platform based on protothreads).
